Big swim, Big Cause

This summer I am once again undertaking the gruelling 2.8km Big Swim to raise funds for innovative cancer research.

While each weekend I am a volunteer surf lifesaver at Manly Beach, the 2.8km Big Swim is a marathon swim not to be undertaken lightly.

I successfully completed this swim in 2012 and 2013 so I know what I am in for – battling the surf, fighting rips and avoiding fatigue as I journey from gorgeous Palm Beach to beautiful Whale Beach around the extensive headland.

I’m not trying to break any records, I anticipate it will take me over an hour – but I will definitely finish!

I am taking on this challenge to raise much needed funds for cancer research. 100% of the tax deductible donations to my fundraising page directly funds early career cancer researchers.

I would be incredibly grateful and honoured if you choose to sponsor me.
